But behind this staged persona is a man deeply marked by the loss of his mother, a void he fills with roles, rituals, and cinematic fantasies.

In Berlin, Ari is a dungeon master at one of the world’s most iconic BDSM clubs, a place where power is negotiated through strict rules and codified dynamics.

The documentary explores two parallel realms: Ari’s inner world and the world of BDSM, using contrasting, intersecting, and contaminating visual and narrative languages.

Both funny and touching, provocative and unconventional, Ari plays with language, structure, and storytelling codes.
